In 1969 he starred in a made for T.V. movie called Lost Flight. He played the pilot Steve Bannerman. It co-starred Anne Francis,Ralph Meeker,Billy Dee Williams and a few others. It was pretty good.....especially the interactions of the people stranded on the island.....how they all needed to try and get along. This was way before the T.V. show Lost.

She was the first person to contact Rob Lowe following his sex tape scandal & went out of her way, going against the producers by getting him cast for a role in Contact (1997), when his acting career was plummeting. You people trying to argue about Desi being right because "stick to the script" are missing the point. Maybe if Desi had a little bit of self-control, he would have calmly and professionally told Rob Reiner to stick to the script. The issue is clearly that Desi -- a man who had absolutely no self-control -- decided that the right way to make his point was to scream and shove people around. So many people back that were such absolute jerks.

Saw Tin Cup when it first came out. Thought it was okay. Watched it again just recently (like almost 30 years later) and thought it was wonderful - really enjoyed Rene's performance!

i dont recall a more hot scene ever.. and allmost nobody thinked that she was THAT HOT. Magical body.. great person with lots of humor and ohhh mannn ive seen that scene maybe 20 times. Its perfection. Whole movie was 10/10 action comedy little bit of drama allso. Tango scenes were allso very very nicely done. Arnold was really supermega level star in that days allso and was feeling like it. I would never would change Jamie Lee Curtis in this movie for ANY actress.. that basic wife she was playing was really believable.. and the insane stuff she made to DO THE JOB.. as she thinked she has to do.. to that scene in the apartment.. action scenes... Easy OSCAR movie... we dont have this quality of actors and movies with such vibes and character building with a movie like this. I hope Camerom will do something like this maybe at least once.
